What's therapy like at The Dr. Gore Group? +
Therapy here is active, collaborative, and results-focused. We go beyond traditional talk therapy to create meaningful, lasting change. Our clinicians offer direct, honest guidance, balancing empathy with challenge, to help you confront patterns and move forward. This is a working space, not a waiting room.
How do I know which therapist is right for me? +
We begin with a brief consultation to understand your goals and preferences. From there, we'll recommend the therapist whose style and expertise best align with your needs. If the first match isn't the right fit, we'll work with you to find one that is.
Do you accept insurance? +
We are an out-of-network practice and do not bill insurance directly. We're happy to provide a monthly superbill you can submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement. Coverage varies by plan.
How long does therapy typically take? +
It depends on your goals, situation, and willingness to do the work. Some clients experience meaningful shifts quickly; others take a few months (not years). We're focused on lasting change, not endless sessions.
Do you offer online/telehealth sessions? +
Yes. We offer secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth sessions. Dr. Gore still prefers in-person, but the rest of our team offers the same high-quality care virtually.
